Dear Friends,
Please accept sincere gratitude for your presence, your assistance, and your prayers at the recent events to open St. Mary’s Polish Church, rebuilt after the fire. These are special moments and milestones. The reaction to the beautiful sacred space has been entirely positive, which is a tribute to the work and help of so many people.
Please know that you are always welcome.
Here is a link to the video of the Mass of Dedication and Blessing for St. Mary’s Polish Church (July 3), with thanks to Sajive Kocchar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0RIbN7gzu4&feature=youtu.be .
In addition, the Open House on June 26 received considerable media attention. Here, for example, is the article in the Cape Breton Post:
Phase 2 of the construction is proceeding this summer and fall, with gratitude for your ongoing support and contributions. This will be “Sala 1050” – a bright, welcoming community space for gatherings and rehearsals, a library and reading room (with fireplace), a kitchen, and a children’s play area – all overlooking the parish’s community garden and grotto.
Niech Bóg was błogosławi. Thank you and God bless,
Tom Urbaniak
